There are
many reasons why a woman does not have normal
ovulation. Nutritional deficiencies, extremely intense exercise, obesity and
hormonal disorders can affect this. Ovulation stimulation can increase the
chances of pregnancy. Sometimes irregular or absent ovulation can be treated
easily with changes in lifestyle, for example by changing your diet. If this
does not help, we use well-proven medication that regulates hormone levels in
the blood to induce ovulation.
Medication is usually given in tablet form, and you then check your ovulation with a urinary LH test from the ninth day of your menstrual cycle. Day 10-14: you will be booked for an ultrasound examination and will then receive further instructions. Note! Avoid unprotected intercourse until after the ultrasound examination.
If treatment is not successful after a certain number of
attempts, the doctor may recommend IVF instead
